About UF Health | Implant Dentistry

Established in 1999, this interdisciplinary center coordinates research, educational programs, and diagnosis and treatment related to patients needing dental implants. Straumann AG, a Switzerland-based company that tested its first implant in 1974, and the International Team for Oral Implantology (ITI), a worldwide group of scientists and clinicians that developed the ITI-Dental Implant System, helped establish the center in Gainesville. With the backing of these two leaders in the field of dental implants, the center is the first of its kind in the world. I liked them,but they should have told me on the phone ,they couldn't help me .I have been going there for almost 3 years.For bone implant, but since it didn't take.They could have saved me,a day of pay 12 hours ,gas and their time.A phone called or text messages would have saved $400.00 totaled of my hard earned money,for bills. But it's too late now.

Went to UF dental implant to have bad implants removed that were causing nerve damage. I traveled from July to Oct and was set for surgery Nov. A Prostodonist Dr Katrina could not communicate what she wanted me to do during exam. She hurt me repeatedly but instead of an apology she got angry and said next time she would wear ear protection due to me yelling out in pain when she hit a nerve. I said nothing out of line but she had Dr Martin reprimand me and then a week later they called and refused to do surgery on me. Most cruel and uncaring doctors I have met. I'm heartbroken that I can't have this critical surgery.
